With over 10 years’ experience in the events & hospitality industries, Shanae has evolved her career from event manager through to business development & relationship management.
Shanae secured her first corporate event role with audio visual company, Staging Connections (now Encore Event Technologies) in 2012. Based in some of Sydney’s leading five-star hotels, Shanae soon realised her passion lay in building strong client relationships and thinking outside the box to produce creative solutions for her clients’ events. From small meetings to large multi-day conferences, Shanae worked as the intermediary between the client, venue, and the technical team, translating the client brief into reality and delivering first class events across the MICE sector.
Shanae continued to explore the technical side of the events industry, joining a boutique production company in 2016. With innovation and creativity at the forefront of everything they do, Shanae channelled this to secure and retain key clients.
In 2018 Shanae took her experience to creative events agency This Space, the team responsible for the highly regarded fundraising event for Cure Brain Cancer, Avant Garde. Charged with growing the company’s events and styling division, Shanae saw great success in this role. Shanae was an integral part of the team that grew a unique sub-brand of the company, providing corporate and venue clients with the skill and tools to style their own events. Shanae grew her network substantially in this role, working closely with venues, corporates, and fellow event industry colleagues.
Shanae’s detailed knowledge of event production and delivery, as well as her wide industry network is a significant asset to the TMG Team.
