Our client is an award-winning creative experience agency, based in Sydney with a national footprint. They conceptualize, design, and deliver truly immersive and transformative experiences that reflect the remarkable stories of some of the most coveted brands in the world. We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Production Manager capable of bringing to life ambitious and bespoke experiences that act as portals into other worlds—or transform the one we are in. 
The role:  
Reporting to the Head of Projects, you will work on a range of events, including retail activations, live events, brand experiences, product launches, client engagement experiences, and media events. You will be working across a diverse client portfolio from luxury fashion and high-end jewellery houses to global retailers, media outlets, and tech companies. 
  • You will be involved in the creative concept development of projects, incorporating production feasibility, alternative options, suppliers, as well as technology solutions for proposals  
  • Manage/assist in the development, planning and execution of the technical and production aspects of projects, including CAD / Vectorworks Plans, technical plans, briefing suppliers, managing schedules and timelines. Identifying production and technical resources required, and any other relevant production documentation.  
  • Work with Producers to ensure all events produced by the agency meet or surpass clients' expectations and are delivered on time, with great efficiency and attention to detail 
  • Financial acumen is paramount. This includes managing production and technical budgets, supplier quotes and invoicing  
  • Manage production and technical suppliers for each event/project.  Developing strong relationships and maximising margin 
  • Working across multiple projects simultaneously and ensuring the agency’s standards never waver  
  • Keep up to date with the latest technologies, production materials, production trends and suppliers   
Candidate profile:  
  • You will have experience with custom production build and fabrication, stage design, audio-visual, and technical, as well as rigging.  
  • You will have 4-5 years' experience in a similar agency/experiential environment 
  • Demonstrated ability to use Vectorworks or CAD is imperative to the role 
  • You will have a positive and solution-based approach to all situations 
  • You will be required to use your own vehicle for transport to meetings, site inspections and events 
  • Evening and/or weekend work will be required when the agency has an event on 
  • You will have highly developed and demonstrated project management skills, ability to meet deadlines and to balance competing priorities in a dynamic and high-profile work environment 
  • You will be a strategic thinker, effective collaborator and passionate about achieving excellence in all elements of your projects 
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to manage and grow relationships with key stakeholders including clients, staff, and third-party suppliers
