Job Description

Our client is a global brand communications agency which specialises in producing inspiring events and brand experiences on behalf of its clients across the APAC region. Currently in an exciting growth phase both in Australia and internationally, we are now seeking a career-driven Production Coordinator to support their team of event producers.

The role:
  • Reporting to the Executive Producer and MD you will play a vital role supporting the team of event producers
  • Working broadly across the business you will gain invaluable project management skills via direct involvement with many world-class events and brand experiences
  • Along will general office mgmt. tasks you will assist with;
    • Creating, managing and tracking project budgets
    • Venue and supplier sourcing
    • Pre-production and production schedule management
    • On-site event and crew management
    • Whatever it takes to help team members stay on track and prioritise critical tasks
  • As your role evolves, you will have the opportunity to provide input to the creative process, pitch preparation and responding to client briefs
  • Support onboarding of future employees
Candidate profile:
  • 1-2 year’s event industry experience, preferably from a creative events environment
  • Exposure to live event staging and technical production highly advantageous
  • Able to take instruction easily and happy to help at a moment’s notice
  • Strong word processing, note-taking and general office mgmt skills
  • Creative flair, excellent communication skills and high standards of personal presentation
  • Resilience to handle a fast-paced working environment, as well as being self-motivated, with a passion for excellence
