Having been in the business for over 60 years, with offices and warehouses along the east coast of Australia, our client is a market-leading hire and styling company who provide one of the widest ranges of on trend and customised furniture rental solutions for events, conferences, and activations. 
Currently in a strong growth phase, our client is actively seeking to strengthen their national events team with a Sydney based Senior Account Manager. Could you be the highly personable, design oriented and motivated professional we are looking for?  

The role: 
Reporting to the National Sales Manager you will be required to bring in new business, nurture & grow existing clients, as well as handle inbound  inquiries, offering creative and customised event hire and styling solutions. 
  • Prospect for new business opportunities via networking, cold calling, and industry contacts 
  • Create tailored pitches and proposals addressing the client’s needs, concerns, and objectives   
  • Nurture key client relationships through exceptional customer service while maximising hire & styling service revenue 
  • Responsible for the full sales cycle from brief to invoicing and payment
  • Present business trends, ideas, products with a view to developing new services and products 
  • Develop, nurture, and manage relationships with suppliers. 
  • Schedule & manage project planning meetings with Operations team for medium to large scale installations/tenders 
Candidate profile: 
  • You will have previously held a similar sales/account management role working to targets and delivering results in line with budgets and forecasts 
  • Must have knowledge and understanding of the events industry
  • You must be used to working in a fast-paced environment and adept at handling change 
  • A Styling/Design background is preferred, possessing an awareness of space, colours, current design trends 
  • Project management/proposal process experience 
  • Have a sound knowledge of Microsoft & Adobe Suite and Sketch up 
  • Excellent interpersonal, administration, attention to detail and all-round organisational skills 
  • Personable, professional, and always well-presented
  • Above all, you must be a team player, self-motivated and proactive in all areas of work. 
Salary & Benefits: 
  • $85-100,000 plus super.
