Accommodation and Food Services is predicted to be Australia’s 4th fastest-growing industry in the coming years, accounting for 112,400 new jobs; meanwhile, when dividing Australian employment growth by occupation, Managers will grow by 9.2% over the same time period, while Café and Restaurant Managers will increase by 27.3%, or 17,500 new jobs¹².
Within these statistics, the employment outlook for Department, Hotel, and Event Managers is very positive. Australia’s economy is broadly transitioning towards higher-skilled, service-driven profit powered by tourism and education.
