Job Description
Our client is an award-winning restaurant and event venue located in the stunning NSW countryside.
The role:
Reporting to the owner you will be responsible for managing daily kitchen operations including;

Working with local suppliers, develop new and inspired seasonal menu items and effectively train your brigade on these

Event planning, off-site catering and private events

Ensure equipment and each work environment is operational, safe and clean

Recruitment and training of new team members
Candidate profile:
-
2-3 years’ experience as a Senior Sous or Head Chef within an upmarket, modern dining environment - hatted background desirable.

Experience with catering for events up to 150

Natural leadership and effective communication skills

You will thrive on achieving first-rate results, showing initiative, creativity, passion and drive

Use effective coaching and mentoring skills to develop your team

Flexible to work required hours across 7-days

Proven financial capability in managing food and labour costs

Passionate about working with locally sourced produce
Salary & benefits:
