Fiona has built a successful career in Sales, Marketing, Account Management, and Business Development, with her experience spanning over 20 years in the Hospitality and Events Industry.

Fiona began her career working as Concierge at the 5-star Intercontinental Hotel Sydney while completing a Bachelor’s degree in Business and Hotel Management. After contracting to an International VIP Hospitality company during the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games, Fiona decided to gain further international experience heading to the US to work as Front Desk Agent and Night Manager at the prestigious St Regis Hotel Aspen, before heading to Ireland as Concierge at the Four Seasons Hotel, Dublin. 

Returning home to Sydney in 2003, Fiona transitioned into hotel sales, securing a role as Regional Sales Coordinator for Hyatt Hotels before moving to the Shangri-La Hotel Sydney as Business Development Manager. In 2006, Fiona joined Sheraton on the Park Sydney as Business Development Director to help the hotel increase its market share and improve their competitive position. During Fiona’s tenure, this was improved from sixth to first position.

Desiring a new challenge, Fiona then joined BeChallenged, a small team building company in the events industry with strong aspirations. Her tenure of over 6 years as National Sales & Marketing Manager resulted in the implementation of sales and marketing systems, successful training and management of the sales team and helping the business drive exponential growth on an international scale.

Between taking time out to have her two sons, Fiona held roles in Business Development with a National Audio Visual Company and as a freelance Copywriter. 

Fiona’s vast industry connections, established reputation and varied skill set are a welcome addition to THE MONDAY GROUP.
